Gunbound is a free online game developed by a company called Softnyx. Its basically a turn-based, room-to-room game, similar to the game called Worms.

You create a character (male or female) and you can decorate this character with clothes that are called Avatars.

Your character rides on "mobiles" similar to tanks, you have your choice of which to use when you enter a game.

You can play in 1 vs 1 or up to 4 players on each team and participate in various different game modes.

During the game you will earn Gold and GP.  GP is used to decide you rank (the more you have the higher your rank).  Gold can be used to purchase items from the Avatar shop, change your in game name, create guilds, etc. Its basically the in-game currency.

Gunbound is 100% free to play, however, you have the option of spending real money to purchase upgrades in the game that are not available for Gold.
