This page was created to document the exclusive avatar items lost when the ijji service of Gunbound ended.

ijji.com was launched on July 7th, 2006 and Gunbound was it's premier game. Gunbound players from USA and Canada were transferred from the developer Softnyx's Gunbound service. Thus began what is known as GBNA, Gunbound North America.

GBNA lasted just over 3 years when it was announced that it would shut down on July 23rd, 2009 when ijji decided not to renew the contract with Softnyx.

Players would not lose most of their account data when they were transferred back but they would lose the many ijji Exclusive Avatars. These avatars were what made GBNA unique and set them apart from other servers. Some players had worked hard to purchase and acquire these avatars and many were even bought with real money so it came as a big disappointment to many players losing them in the end.
